Speaking of Palm Springs TV Market. Should KVMD DT-23 license to Joshua Tree be in the Palm Springs Market instead of Los Angeles market? I know Palm Springs has a LP CBS station KPSP-LP 38, but should they use KVMD signal to make it a full-power station?
For some reason KVMD thinks it's better off marketing itself as a LA station....hence, most cable systems in So Cal carry them even though they are licensed to 29 Palms. I've haven't seen anything interesting on that channel anyway.
The Palm Springs TV market is about 90% cable so it realy makes no difference concerning the power of the station. CBS KPSP is for sale and has been for awhile but no buyers yet. They are loosing a lot of money and even shut down co-owned AZTECA station last year.
