This week both FOX 61 and WFSB using people from Clear Channel for Traffic

Regular viewers of The FOX 61 Morning News know that their regular traffic reporter is Rachel Lutzker form 105.9 The River. She does traffic reports on The River and other Clear Channel stations and also does 7PM-Midnite Monday-Friday. They use Renee Dinio and Cyndi Symms as fill-ins. Renee is the 10PM-3PM jock on The River and I've heard Cyndi do fill-ins on The River.

Now this week on WFSB with regular traffic reporter Olessa Stepanova on vacation they're using someone from Clear Channel too. Although he doesn't appear on camera WFSB is using Mitch Silver for traffic reports this week. Mitch is on The River Saturday Nights 7PM-Midnite. He also does fill-ins on The River.

Who does traffic for CBS Radio Hartford?

HOT 93.7 - Traffic During AM drive only. Don't know why they don't have traffic reports during PM drive. - Gerri Griswold does traffic as "Gerri".
Lite 100.5 - Mark Christopher AM & PM Drive.
96.5 TIC-FM Mark "The Shark" Christopher
News Talk 1080 - Mike Allen. (AM Drive) Mike Allen & Mark Christopher (PM Drive). Gerri Griswold (Off Hours). Tom Michaels (Off Hours).

CBS Radio uses Metro for traffic. Mark, Gerri, Tom, and Mike are all Metro employees.

The weather used by Fox CT and CBS Radio was, once upon a time, produced by the New England Weather Service, which was a separate entity owned by the Chase family. That's why, after the Chase family sold WTIC-TV, the New England Weather Service moved over to WFSB for a few years before moving back to Fox CT. I'm not sure if New England Weather Service still exists as a separate entity or who owns it.

Well, I just Googled the phrase "New England Weather Service" and the very first search result I get is a Tripod page... so I don't know if they're still in business or not... ???
