With Imus arriving the first week of December, it is time for ABC to say goodbye to Curtis and Kuby. I mean it. There should be no more C&K all of November in order to make a more seamless transition from the C&K morning show to Imus in the morning. This week should be the good-bye week. Than they can have for a few weeks Mark Simone as the interim morning host until Imus arrives. Babbita Harriani can serve as interim morning news anchor for Simone, while traffic and weather ladies Debbie Duchaine and Stephanie Deluca can stay for a few weeks until Imus arrives. It would be ridiculous nonsense to have C&K end on a Friday and then expect Imus to be able to fill those shoes on Monday. Taking them off the air for all of November will allow listeners to adjust that there is no more Curtis and Kuby and be more accepting of Imus. The alternative is C&K sign off one day and then drivers flip on 770 the following Monday not yet realizing or remembering they're gone, get Imus instead and not having yet accepted that they're gone angrily flip the dial to 1010 wins or Joe and Donna.
