This worst picture quality ever

I love watching This but it has to be hands down the worst picture quality ever does not matter if I watching it on cable on antenna tv the quality is the same = to a 360p youtube video what is up anybody know??

Could it be possible that the picture quality might be coming from your local This TV affiliate, & not Weigel Broadcasting? I haven't had any major problems with picture quality from my local This TV affiliate, which happens to be Weigel Broadcasting's WCIU in Chicago. Who is your This TV affiliate? The number of subchannels might determine if This TV will be affected, by the local station, cramming too many channels in their stream. I do wish though that the network could be setup for widescreen viewing, as they have been showing some widescreen movies on their network. At least Cozi TV on NBC O&O stations have Cozi in widescreen 480i, & doesn't look too bad.

NBC here in Houston This is there only sub channel
Watching on a 32" flat screen

I watched part of an old Gary Cooper western movie yesterday and the color and PQ were fine here in Phoenix.

In my case in south FL as This is on WSFL 39-4, what tends to happen is that the picture becomes "blocky" in split-seconds during a movie or show. Antenna TV, 39-3, seems to be like this (This?) as well.

I am not tech savvy, but I believe that some subchannels tend to do that. IOW, if This was on the main, like 39-1, this (This?) would not be the case.

All that being said, w9wi pointed out to me how all five TBN channels don't seem to have this issue....and he's right about that!

So, I don't know how this (This?) can be corrected.... :)

To DJboutit3: I see that your NBC affiliate is also running a mobile TV channel on the same bandwidth as the main station. If bandwidth isn't a problem for the station, then the problem might be the satellite link your NBC station gets from Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago. In Chicago, Weigel hasn't had problems with their own MeTV, MeToo (only available in Chicagoland), This TV, or local WCIU & U Too. I don't know what else it could be.

I have noticed this with MeTV and RTV locally.

RTV is on the 3rd. subchannel of a local LPTV. They are running 4, and my guess is this
is often stressing the bandwidth.

MeTV is on the NBC Affiliate. When this is happening I am assuming the main channel
is running a football game or something in 1080i.

^^^ I can not see it either maybe that stream is not even loading
