This year's 4th of July specials

As I'm sure a lot of you know, 4th of July specials on TV this year are going to be quite different from usual. But the question is, what will they be like? The Boston Pops Spectacular that's televised only in Boston is going to be virtual this year, but I haven't heard anything about Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular or the Capitol Fourth on PBS. Though I assume there will be no fireworks. Has anyone else heard anything?

I haven't heard anything about Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular or the Capitol Fourth on PBS.

The Capitol 4th 2020 was just announced a few days ago. The live event on the west lawn of the Capitol has been canceled. They will handle the TV broadcast the way they handled Memorial Day, with a combination of new performances and highlights from the past.

Apparently the annual fireworks display will continue as planned.

A live segment of the special will feature the annual fireworks display over the D.C. skyline.
