This year's Christmas flip (and last year's flap...)

KLDJ-FM ("Kool 101.7") in Duluth switched over to Christmas music this morning. KBJR-TV's 56th annual (dating back to when they were WDSM-TV) "Christmas City of the North Parade" will be held tonight. Last year's coverage caused a mini-flap in the local press when news leaked out that the on-air hosts, wearing parkas, scarves, and wool hats, were "covering" the chilly outdoor parade from inside the studio; using green-screen to place themselves at the scene. It's safe to assume they'll actually "be there" this year.

A quick follow-up: In today's newspaper, KBJR announced that their parade hosts will again be in the studio...well, at least they're admitting it this year.
