Thom Hartmann on AAR Sundays, 10AM-1PM Eastern

AAR has announced Thom Hartmann will air on WLIB and the AAR stream (and probably many affiliates) on Sundays, 10AM to 1PM.

I'm guessing it will be a best-of from the preceding week -- even Hartmann can't be working six days a week!
______________

I am having a devil of a time listening to him via the internet. Can you offer any helpful links? I'll see if I can catch him tomorow.
Edited by robbbc on 09/11/05 01:31 AM.

AAR offers Hartmann as Franken replacement.

I believe AAR will also be offering Thom's national show as an alternative to Franken's, as the two run in competing slots. Since many Clear Channell stations already do this sort of thing, AAR has seen the trend and finally got their ass moving. I wonder if they are eyeballing Ed Schultz?

AAR will also manage the Hartmann broadcast schedule and advertising insertion.

You'd think now that more than four people have heard of him that he'd lose the whole Berkeley-501(c)3 look on his website and spruce it up a bit.

The WLIB-AM/NYC audio stream is essentially what is on the Air America audio stream from their web page...

I was wrong; I just heard him give out the AAR toll-free listener line.

Hartmann is doing the 10-1 Sunday show live, too!
______________

WTPG 1230am in Columbus is currently carrying him, very exciting, I've been listening to Thom since his I.E. America days.

I don't believe so, I heard it will be a repeat of his Friday show. This is good news, since his first hour with Congressman Bernie Sanders (Independent, VT) is the hottest hour of his week.
______________

Today's show was live. Hartmann did say that future shows would usually be best-ofs.
______________

I heard some of the show and was impressed. AAR is getting an interesting Sunday line-up with Politically Direct and Mother Jones, although ring of fire is a repeat and not my cup of tea. They should put Thom on during the Ring of Fire repeat spot.

And actually, they should put him on instead of Franken. Any station manager should know he is the right decision insteaad of Franken. Franken should fade away now IMHO.

Sunday Economic Lessons with Hartmann, Bernie, Cunningham, Carl Jeffers, and...BRINKER!

Today I was overwhelmed with hours and hours of Sunday economic lessons from Thom Hartmann, Bernie Sanders, Doug Cunningham (WIN), and then...the increasingly left-leaning BOB BRINKER!!!

Oh...that's right...BTW, when Carl Jeffers/KIRO-AM isn't pre-empted by the Seahawks, then even one more host! :)

Wow, Interesting! In Washington State (KPTK-AK 1090) the show (prior to Bob Brinker) was from last Friday...with the aforementioned guests...

Rob,

- Sat. and Sun. re-broadcasts of Hartmann for stations that do NOT have Hartmann M-F would be better than re-runs of other M-F hosts (e.g.Franken,Garafallo,Rhodes,Malloy).

- That's what KPTK-AM 1090 Seattle/Tacoma/Everett started doing a few months ago, w/ positive feedback on the web site talk host poll results.
