Thomas Drayton of Fox 40 left Fox 40 Sacramento

Hey , Thomas Drayton has left Fox 40. Thomas drayton has been co -anchoring the Fox 40 news at 10pm weekdays with Donna Cordova. Thomas Drayton best wishes at your new tv station. where will you be going and what will you bne doing at your new tv station ? will you still co -anchor the news ?

does anyone have any thoughts. Well Thomas Drayton, I think you did good on the news and delivered the news great !!

God bless you and God bless your family and friends too from your friend Phillip from Galt !

Drayton went to Philly and Fox owned and operated WTXF, 29. Drayton co-anchors the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.

He was hired in 2002 as the weekend co-anchor at KTXL, and then took the weekday co-anchor spot when Jay Allen's contract wasn't renewed.

Very young—23 or 24—when hired for the weekday spot, Drayton spent six years in Sacramento. Previously, Drayton was weekend morning news co-anchor and weekday reporter at McGraw-Hill's KMGH, Denver. He anchored and reported at KTVA, Anchorage, Alaska, KTWO, Casper, Wyoming and KXRM, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Fox replaced Drayton with Jaime Garza, who spent Oct. 1991 to June 1995 in the morning anchor chair at KXTV, 10 Sacramento. Garza went to LA for a 13 year stint at at CBS O&O's KCBS-TV/KCAL. He was laid off when a round of downsizing hit all CBS stations.
