Anyone else ever get fooled by those fake morning show commercials they are running on the radio now. They sound exactly like the mindless nonsense you hear on Q100 or 94.1 and the like.
"Have you been watching My Name is Earl?"
"Oooh ER is better than ever this season"
"NBC's Thursday night line up is really good this year"

I'm like what the hell station did I just turn it too.

I was tripped up the first time I heard it. Almost all the networks are doing it now. Last week that ad for Daisy does america on TBS was so annoying.

I think they're quite clever, well-scripted, and well-voiced, although I caught on within seconds that it wasn't normal station chatter.

What I think is genius is when a morning show host will give a personal recommendation in conversation, and the discussion of that product or service will go on for about 60 seconds.

You got fooled by someone ending their sentence with 10/9 central on NBC?!! Clever spots but c'mon. When I tell my friends about a show - I say "Lost is frickin' amazing - u gotta watch it". NOT "Kate is so sexy and mysterious, u gotta see it Wednesday's at 9 on ABC - and Invasion is a great show too!"

Clever spots - but not even Steve & Vicky banter like that - ohh wait

Yeah, I think there's some guy named Paul who does that, too.
