Those spots promoting consumer spending..will they be back?

Does anyone remember a series of spots that ran in the 90s promoting consumer spending? They actually may have run around that time when we all got checks from the government. Now we'll be getting at least $600 per person this spring & I'm wondering about the original spots. I know they ran on WPRO AM & were locally produced so I doubt that it was a national public service campaign. Were they running elsewhere? Was it a WPRO thing only? I doubt they were paid for by anyone. Just wondering if they'll be back.

Sounds like something WPRO might have done as a service to sponsors or as an inducement to advertise when the public had extra money. You need to have earned at least $3000 in 2007 to qualify for money. Do you realize Buddy made that in less than a week?
