Thought Cathy Broecks left KHOZ?

Seems the One Hundred Thousand Watt flame thrower of the Ozarks, which is now nothing more than a pilot light on a space heater, has not recieved the "NEWS" that Cathy Broecks has left the building. I had scanned the dial recently to see how few paid ads were running and guess what? An on air recorded promo "Still" running for Cathy's weekly talk program. I thought she left there over a week ago? Lord knows what else they have running on the air and are unaware of. Who's running that place? Sad to see a radio station concern itself with web pages and peoples internet profiles and not enough attention to what they are putting out on the air. I suspect Harrison will never miss KHOZ when they are gone. Wonder if they know Troy Walker has left too?

I typically call my friends when their radio stations go off the air... As I was driving somewhere between Lurton and Jasper the other night the 100,000 watt flamethrower of the Ozarks was transmitting dead air at 8:29 PM. It dawned on me that the list of people I would normally give a shout to has pretty much dwindled away.

They were quick to take Cathy off the news promos. They now have them featuring Jerry Bowman and Morris James. Is the latter of the two doing the newscasts from Branson?? I know the KZRK/KOMC website lists him as a news director...

seems like troy walker leaving was the beginning of the real end. let's face it, up til he left with the staff that was left, if it got done, troy did it. after he walked out it looks as if the place is coming apart at the seems.
they do seem to be overly worried about internet newspapers amd gettomg clients to come listen to boring presentations that thinly veil the real reason you are there...a sales pitch. i bet if khoz tried to be an actual radio station again, they might actually have a sporting chance.
