I don't know if anyone else has heard their new slogans, or has it been said for awile. I am not a listener so I do not know. They keep stressing, best variety of music you forgot, and they play a sample list, which is all Modern Rock/Alternative and some harder stuff. Tonight at the 5-6-7PM slots they played many harder rock and rock tunes, eg. Aerosmith, GnR, Seven Mary Three, and some Modern/Alternative, nothing rhythmic, "BUT" at 7:30PM the great J.T. was played and I quickly stopped monitoring 94.5. What gives, are they slowly entering the Rock Pile.

On another note: there has been a Spanish Music station on 1260 with a good signal in Philadelphia proper, especially CC south. Its not BUD because today I had them on in Joisey. This Spanish station comes in only in Philly south of CC, could it be the old WAMS of last year....
 
PST is by far the areas best top-40 station, maybe STW...but they both beat the Q...

it would be nice to hear some more 90's alternative hits on PST :)
 
maybe pst realizes that without the hawk nassau has nothing in the way of a male following... keep in mind that the trenton dma is a strage animal being that they used to rely on the philadelphia NY special combo to generate ratings. for central jersey.. but now that philly is ppm, i dont know what they use... but i know that pst has a soccer mom base but lets see because that tower is in a weird spot being right in the trenton area, people i know live in that area and can barely hear ysp over it because pst is so strong... it would be a benefit to them to get some men without ostracizing their entire audience... i see this as a great move if they do it right.

i live in levittown, and hardly any portable radio can pull YSP in, except for the alarm clock radios, and my MP3 Player(which has GREAT reception)...of course, YSP comes in in the car and in any home stereo...
