Thoughts on 99.1

I didnt realize the channel went total sports talk. It is branded as SportsRadio 99.1 Cleveland's New Sports FM. While it only airs Nationally syndicated ox Programming do you think there is any chance they open up some local time slots?
No chance at all. It's one of two sports parking lots iHeart Cleveland operates that have virtually the same exact Fox Sports Radio lineup (the other being Akron station WARF 1350, which cosplays badly as a "Cleveland station" to zero ratings). 99.1's signal is tiny and uncompetitive.

Tiny? I've heard it on the Wayne/Summit county border a few times which is beyond what's considered their farthest fringe range.

Are they transmitting from the WMMS tower in Seven Hills?

A shame we can't get a format which is missing here instead of more sports.

As discussed in the previous thread about this station, they have a deal with ROCK Entertainment for the Cavaliers. So if they do any local stuff at all, it will be connected to the Cavaliers as an extension of what they do on WTAM.
