Thoughts on Energy 95.7?

I listen frequently to the station through CBS' streaming platform (I don't have HD Radio yet, but will get it soon), and think the overall presentation is pretty well-done. Everything from the music mix to less commercials and the voiceovers. What are your thoughts on this? Also, if there is any space, could this station make it to an FM translator like in Minneapolis (with KDWB-HD2 and 102.5 FM)?

I really like it, when I can pick up the HD signals, I wish they would add some DJ's for mixshows over the weekends.

One of the bright spots in the otherwise dismal Houston radio dial. I've said it before - all the good stuff is on HD-2 and HD-3 around here.

The other day Charlie Pallilo was mentioning on air that SportsTalk 790 is available on one of the KKRW HD's. He frequently apologizes for the dead spots in the 790 night signal, and gives FM HD as an alternative, along with IHeartRadio.

I'm guessing KBME is on the HD3 signal of 93.7?

KBME is on HD2 and KTRH is on HD3. Apparently, the AAA on HD2 is gone.

For Energy, it is one of my top 3 stations. I listening to KTBZ-HD2 (active rock), KHPT-HD1 (80s), and KKHH-HD2 (edm). The music selection is great, lots of good retro dance songs from the 2000s but those could be switched out IMO since it seems the same ones have been in rotation for a while. The biggest issue I have with Energy is the seemingly never ending Bud Light commercials. They don't come up often but seem to come up in multiples, back to back. I'm glad Bud Light is sponsoring the channel becuase if it doesn't make money, i don't expect it to stay around forever.

Just my $.02

@Mediafrog+ The HD2 AAA format "The Loop" is gone replaced with 790 KBME and the HD3 is carrying 740 KTRH

Agreed! The Bud Light ads are ALWAYS the first ads on in a stopset. I can only take so much of Sarah Pepper talking about her achievements and rewarding them with alcohol before I turn elsewhere. ;D
