This update was posted on the Kid of Kid and Ruben show my space page. Any thoughts???
Mine: To get on the air doing weekend work or late nights or early early mornings on Free FM until something opens up.

Here's where things stand. About 2 months ago Ruben and I made the decision to turn down all out of town offers and keep our show here in Phoenix. While offers from other cities and radio stations were interesting they all included moving to a different city and state. As you know Ruben and I have deep roots here in the Valley and no matter what city we'd move to, we could never call that city home. We'd never have the special relationship with listeners from another city as we have with you.
So the past couple of months we've focused our efforts on getting back on the air here at a local station. Unfortunately the search hasn't been as easy as we expected. We have contacted every radio station in town that our show would even remotely fit on. So far everyone seems to be happy with the status quo. That doesn't mean the search is over. As ratings decline for the majority of radio stations they will be looking for a quick fix for their problems. Thanks to you, Ruben and I left KISS FM as the #1 rated morning show in the city. We had higher ratings than any show on the air at the time (including Howard Stern) and no show has come close to those ratings since. For that, once again, we say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. You have made our show #1 on 3 different stations and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before you make us #1 on a 4th. We are dedicated to you and the valley. We'll stay here, unemployed, however long it takes for new people to come into management who are as concerned about the listeners as they are with selling commercials.
