thoughts on the 2014 NBC olympics coverage

My complaint is that NBC is re-airing some Olympic events that aired on the sister cable channels, USA, CNBC and NBCSN on NBC. I'm puzzled by that. We don't need to see the same event twice on 2 different channels. NBC ran the women's Skeleton event (runs 1 and 2 ) during prime time tonight, after the event aired on NBCSN early this morning.

Blame that on the cable & satellite companies who STILL refust to carry NBC Sports Network because of its obvious ties to Comcast

NBC in prime time is highlights - the day's most popular events. Because of the time difference, all are delayed broadcasts. Many people don't have the option of watching TV when the events run live (and are technologically challenged with no Tivo/DVRs). If you don't need to see it again on a different channel, don't watch it again. Apparently, enough people do watch these events the second time around on NBC.
