Thoughts on the new WBach?

Lots of programming changes at this three station Maine network, the result of Boston's WCRB being transferred from Nassau Broadcasting to the WGBH foundation.
Here is their statement. What are your thoughts?

Oh my, it took well over a year to get a response. Would be nice if they all went non-comm.
How many non-com classicals owned by neither foundations nor municipal entities remain?
I think W-Bach and this Cape Cod, MA group are it, and at one time, they were one network.

WCVT Stowe, VT (Ken Squier)
There's a "W-Bach" 107.9 in Williamsburg VA.
KXTR 1660 Kansas City (Entercom)
KHFM Santa Fe/Albuquerque (American General Media)

That's about it these days, especially now that "K-Bach" in Monterey CA went away over the winter; everything else is in the hands of foundations/nonprofits (KING-FM, KDB, WFMT) or municipalities (WRR).

One possible scenario could be that whoever buys the Maine stations could keep them Classical and the two New Hampshire stations could join the WGBH/WCRB network.

That would be ideal. I'm not sure if Nassau even owns WNNH & WWHQ in New Hampshire.

I sure hope that somebody will retain the classical format on the WBACH stations. IMHO, there's a terrible dearth of variety in Maine radio.
