Thoughts on the recent NBA renew of current TV deal.

Hey Guys, I'm back!

One of the topics that I know hasen't really been discussed was the renewal of ESPN/ABC and TNT's current TV deals that last until 2016.

Personally I think that is WAY TOO LONG!

I wish it would coincide with the end of the NFL and MLB deals so that FOX, NBC, and CBS would be in contention for them if they wanted it to.

But it looks like the same old, same old. The Spurs will win and continue to solidfy itself as the most boring NBA dynasty of all time (Celtics are still the best),

Lebron will not be the next MJ, Dirk won't clutch, Kobe will whine, and Dwayne will eventually be riding on a wheelchair because Shaq can't get below 225 to save his soul.

And the world's most boring announce crew belongs to ESPN. ;D

At least the Turner coverage will continue to be solid, as it always been for the 20-plus years. Meanwhile, we'll more than likely to see the yearly re-shuffling of their studio and announcing teams on ABC and ESPN. Even though it's basically one in the same, I don't find the ESPN side of the broadcasts to be that bad, but ABC's constant shilling and whoring of their shows and their stars doesn't sit well, but that's just me.
