The "word on the street" is it was about cutting expenses. Several full-timers that don't have to be paid those big-time radio salaries I'm sure they were shelling out.
Sammy was way too good for that place. I hope a nice gig comes out of it for him.

I had a insider (engineer) tell me Venus is using one of Jones Satellite Radio formats. This should tell you not all the programming your hearing on Venus is local.

As for Venus, That 7 pm to whenever satellite feed is horrible because of that blatent "River" knockoff guy! WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS? BUTTER? Other than that, the station is solid.

chatter afternoon drive.
