FWIW, new CEO Tim Pohlman was GM of the Wave in LA for eight years. His Smooth Jazz background might tilt the odds that KOAS keeps it's format? As for V108, they just had a record high book, pretty decent numbers considering the signal. We'll see what the new owners do, I hope our friend Mongo is OK.

I had some feeling that after Riviera entered the Phoenix market, that their next purchase would be in Las Vegas. I wonder if they were eyeing KVEG as well, with the rumors that they had/still have a "for sale" sign up too?

I was most amused by Tim Pohlman's comments on RRONLINE, "KOAS has one of the strongest signals in the market and KVGS will be upgraded probably within four or five months.". I don't live in Las Vegas, but last time i was there KOAS and KVGS were bottom-feeder signals at best. I see that KOAS has a decent booster, but certainly not as good as the Black Mountain signals. Anyone want to chime in?

While we are talking about sites, what is the name of the site for KXTE, KXPT, and KOMP? How do those stations compared to the Black Mountain sticks?
