Three Stooges New Years Eve Marathon On WSBK

It was on last year, too. I forget who hosted, though. This year it's the Andelman boys of "Phantom Gourmet" fame. They also hosted a slew of "Movie Night" presentations during November sweeps and a showing of "Flashdance" before Christmas.

You beat me to this! This is why I got DISH Network, so I would be able to get WSBK. Now that it is TV38, maybe we can expect more special presentations. The Three Stooges marathon was the only event to make it through the UPN38 days. It even was gone for three years. I'm happy about this and will be watching. Although, those Phantom Gourmet hosts annoy me to death. Unfortuneatly, they'll probably spoil the event with their comments.

You could say that "The Three Stooges" is the longest running show on Channel 38, bar none. They've had the rights to the Stooges now (with a couple of hiatuses) since 1971. That's 36 years! I wouldn't be surprised that Channel 38 has had the rights to the Stooges longer than any other TV station in America. Are there any other stations out there who comes even clase to Channel 38's longevity? Any thoughts?

BTW: I'm been a fan since 1964, when the old WNAC-TV (Channel 7) used to run them on "The Major Mudd Show".

Is the WLWC stoogathon a simulcast or on thier own? They are sister stations?

Any plans for Directv to pick up WSBK? Did Dish pick it up after UPN went off the air?
