Throwing the book at the Upper Valley!

Well, the numbers are out for the Lebanon-Rutland-White River Junction Market, or the "Mostly Rutland, sometimes Lebanon, and not typically White River Junction" market, or whatever else its called this ratings period.

Let's see....without going too deep....

Q106. Good Job..doubled your numbers......thank Imus for that...because I guarantee that after 10am, your ratings hit the skids. I mean..could you play ANYMORE Soundgarden?

Z-97..took a little hit...but not much...I guess the 18-34's didn't get all the diaries this book.

Kixx...keeps dropping....now, below a 5 share...hmmmm.......so much for heritage, huh?

WJJR...moves up almost a point. Can you say "Diary placement on the other side of the mountain?" I never hear them in any place I go around the valley!

The Wolf...almost doubled their 12+ numbers....watch out Kixx....I see the tables flip flopping within the next book....remember my comment, "So much for heritage, huh?"

WCVR..up almost 2 points? What do you call a flat fish with eyes on the same side of its head? FLUKE!

The Drive...nothing...to a 3.3? Again...where did those diaries go? The Opera House?

Oldies 104....took another little hit....again, I just think they need to stop playing only 200 songs, and they'll go back up.

99Rock...dropped less than half a point. Looks like the Heath Cole's Ivy League Minions are finally starting to turn that toilet around.

The Fox...not much change. Stay the course...thousand points of light...

WSYB-AM..doubled their numbers??? Again...cmon.....youre kidding, right? Wait until Jack Healey is gone.....back to the legal breathalyzer readings... 0.7!!

Other observations...

WMXR...1.4 Maxx FM? Really working out I see....so is the return of Greg And the Morning Buzz! Expect ANOTHER format change to come soon!

WGXL....take it out behind the barn and kill it...it has a crack in its hoof. Beaten in its own backyard by stations from Manchester VT, Burlington, and an AM station from Springfield VT? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Keene's K ROCK....nothing......and before you say...."It's Keene though" well...so is WKNE...which beat WGXL!

And just so you dont think I am purposely sh**ting on UV Radio...

Way to be a no-show...WCNL.

Seacrest OUT!!!

Well Mr. Jake, KIXX drops .3 and you make it sound like they are ready for the junk yard but 99 Rock drops .5 and they're turning the toilet around? I would have expected better from the Rock in what can only be called a rock slanted book.

3.2 to 2.9 is .3,
not .5

And rock-slanted book? I beg to differ....a RUTLAND slanted book, maybe, but ROCK slanted? why, because Q did so well?

Like I said in my previous post, I am quite sure that Imus had ALOT to do with that.

My math as my spelling does suck, I guess the strong showing of Champ plus the Q gave me the impression it's a rock slanted book. The smell of Rutland is quite pungent in this book too.

This is a very sad state of affairs for both Great Eastern Radio and the listeners alike. If only jeff, courtney and wally could get thier collective head out of thier asses long enough to realize why ppl are making the switch to satellite, they may actually gain some cume and keep employees (talented ones, that is) longer than 3, 6 and 9 mths....just a thought.
