Well first i want to say i appologize if offend anyone here...but i have to say that after years of listening to good Rap...back in the 80s...Sugarhill Gang...LL..CooL J.....Slick Rick.....KRS-ONE....to what's on the airwaves now....it sad...

MOST OF THESE so Called HIP HOP ARTIST...Talk about..."F*cking...some woman in a CLUB or Taking her clothes off or Killing or Something else Negative to Further Damage the AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE AND RACE....AND WHAT's EVen WORSE...

THe Big Corporate Radio People and Record Companies are making $$$$$$$$ of off our lack of actually putting out QAULITY LYRICS...
and further destroying our own Culture. Wearing Thug Clothes....Hats...Jersey's....etc....everywhere we GO!!!!! Because of the LYRICS they here...& Videos saying it's ok to live and Function like this....WOW.... ??? ???

I remember when stations like WJLB & WBBM(B96) & WGCI..& & the old WHYT in Detroit would play HOUSE AND MIX DANCE AND R&B....now everytime i listen to either one of these (CRAP-HOP) stations i want to Throw my RADIO out the Window

Turn to a Urban A/C station . Its that simple . Lack of Good Parents ,are Killing America , Not Hip Hop radio Stations .Parents of today, Dont know , or dont care ,what are there kids are doing ( Sex,Drugs and a Army full of guns ).

The Lack of Good Parents is Defiinelty were our problems are of today with the Black Culture, however with this New "Crack Hop" Music style and the Lryics, Mostly Negative, regarding Killing someone or Drugs or Sexing women up, DOES NOT HELP OUR CAUSE

I was in a CLub Recently in a Very White Suburb and which they were playing HIP HOP, the DJ was spinning tracks not played on the Radio and the Crowd was mostly Black men under 35, some wearing Very Baggy Pants and Shirts....This Black guy comes to me and accusses me of Looking at him funny and said he might kill some people

..So you can't say that this Music is good for our culture, its anything but positive. I do like some of R.Kelly's & Bow Wow's songs with Rhianna & Chris Brown.

If you look at most Urbans Such as KQKS...KXHT, WJLB & WUSL, i wouldn't let my child listen to 85 % of their playlists.

Such as i said, the True Hip hop Culture and Good Rap Music was 10-20 years ago such as KRS-ONE, and De La SOUL & LL CooL J

Being a Black man isn't all that great anymore, especially when the Culture today is so negative. It seems like the People who made sacrafice for our Race..I.E.. MLK, Malcom X, & Harriet Tubman...died for nothing. We are just Killing ourselves today....

We think wearing Jersey's and Baggy Pants & Tennis Shoes is a Good thing

Life is What you make of it . Being a Black man isn't all that great anymore ? You got to be kidding ! MLK , Malcolm X and whom ever from years past , will love to live in todays world . As a black man , I know everything is not equal ( and it may never will be ) , but life is not always fair . I dont know if you notice this, But there is a black man , whom may become The President of The United States of America . As a rap music fan , I Agree with you( about kids) , alot of Rap music of Today is not for kid ears. R-Rated and XXX Rated Movie are not for kids. Now right back to these lazy so-called Parents, Whom giving up on there kids ( Let there kids Watch and listen to Whatever and do whatever ) . And that thug you ran into in the club , He is going to do whatever , and put the blame on something else, for his stupid act ( Rap, Movie, Video Game, Being Poor made me do it ).

Funny that you put WUSL (Power 99) in the mix. They are an R&B leaning Urban and they don't pley alot of the "southern hip hop".
