Thumbs Down- WHEC -Saturday's Today Show

Channel 10 use to carry the first two hours of Saturday morning's "Today Show." However the station's management has decided to instead carry just the first hour and run informercials the second hour.

What's the matter Arnie; station not making enough money forcing you to pre-empt a national news show for some dust-buster or colon blow commercials?

It's not like the Today show ever has anything of real substance in the first place, especially on the weekends... but that's still a pretty low-class move.

Here are TV executives wondering why they can't get people to watch. But instead of making an effort to air compelling programming, they just keep whoring out timeslots to infomercials that just drive more people away from the set and onto the net.
