Thumbs up or thumbs down?

I like the Jump Smokers, great guys, great DJ's. But for me, I just don't feel this. :(

Perhaps it's because of my age, remembering the original from the Cover Girls, that I just don't feel this remake. Maybe a younger crowd might be into it.

But that certainly does NOT take away from the amazing job the Jump Smokers do :)
 
Sophia's vocals fall flat from the original.Freestyle remakes usually don't do justice to the originals. Although,I like the production on this.

The Jump Smokers are great! :) It was definitely the vocals where I wasn't "feeling it". That's what I should have been more specific in my first response.

But I'm not going to knock on Sophia Del Carmen. Remaking "Because Of You" may have been the wrong "avenue" to go down. But if you listen to the video below on this Latin dance track with Pitbull, she does have an amazingly nice voice.

Though, my hat still goes off to Angel Mercado :)
