Thunder 103.5 on HD-2

I got tired of looking for the AAA on the 107.3 HD2 signal - it has been off for a couple of weeks. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that CC now has Thunder 103.5 on the HD2 frequency. They played a long set of ELO which included "Fire On High". I haven't heard that cut played on FM since I heard it on WNEW FM 102.7 New York many years ago.

it's "broader" than a traditional classic rock. Listen long enough and you'll see why.

Is the new Thunder 103.5 HD2 more in line with Deep Cuts? I. E., does it resemble a traditional AOR FM from the 70s which played virtaully anything that sounded good and fit the overall station image regardless of whether or not it was a hit?

When does 102.5 The Bone start airing liners on their HD-2 channel lampooning Thunder on 103.5 HD-2? ;D

I noticed the same thing about 107.3. HD has been off for a few weeks now. Must be broken. Since we're talking about it, how come they don't add a WDAE simulcast to 97.9 HD-3 or 103.5 HD-3. I realize 620 has a great signal but it's so nice (especially at night) when I can hear 970 on WTB's HD-2. Since the Rays usually play at night, it sure would be nice to have 620 on an FM HD somewhere within the group.

I know they originally were thinking the 970 on WXTB would help fill in their nulls. Plus it would be much more consistent than the AM version of HD LOL. Not sure why they haven't added Dae on a side channel.
Yes JM it does. More like a true 70's AOR. You'll hear everything from the Talking Heads, to Sweet, to Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels, Def Leppard, Judas Priest and a lot more.

If you select the "classic rock channel" on iheart radio you'll have it.
the only difference is you won't hear my imaging.

"Over 59 minutes of the most ponderous, tiresome classic rock every hour... more than Thunder HD-2! The 'NEW' 102.5 The Bone HD-2." ;D

btw, I know this is semi "non sequitur", but does FLZ HD-2 have its' own local imaging, or do they run "Club Phusion" with the prepackaged imaging intact??
