Thunder 106

There is a somewhat cryptic visitor post on the Thunder 106 FB page stating that either the country format or the DJs will be leaving soon. There is no response comment from T106 regarding the post. Press tends to mismanage their station's formats and operations so I wouldn't be surprised if a change is coming. Nash FM covers a lot of their northern signal, maybe affecting T106s ratings.

I wanted to keep this to myself but yeah, so much potential they have to make their brands yet no passion at all in their product. Kinda sucks since I was at the Seaside parade when one certain station was trying to hype the crowd yet nobody cared.

The Monmouth book was released 7/14/16. Thunder did well with a 4.5, the other Press stations continue to fail.

As mentioned in a different thread, Thunder is holding it's own in Monmouth/Ocean (it helps being the only station with good coverage in both counties.)

As for the rest of press? Fun and B's ratings are both laughable at this point. And we are yet to see if The Island is having any sort of impact.

I'd say combine the formats of Fun and B, simulcast to get full market, and see if that helps, but we also know that "Hit 106" did nothing on two signals.

So... who knows at this point.

In regards to Hit 106, the blow up of G-Rock that left many loyal listeners furious and the launch of 92.3 Now weeks later didn't really help them.

Z100, 94.3 the Point, and 95.5 WPLJ, and Fresh 102.7 didn't help either. All still exist. Which makes me just think Fun is completely unnecessary, and teaming it up with 98.5 won't help either. ::shrug::

@d21ofnj Maybe the wedding DJ can save the day with his cool internet radio stations...nobody listens to party732.com.

Well, on the DanceRadio app free for all devices, Party 732 is listed on the most popular category and we are also listed on TuneIn Radio and Streema's Sumple Radio. I also notice Neptune is on the tune in frequently šŸ˜Ž

Thunder remains on top again.

Not really. NJ 101.5 didn't buy the ratings this period and is not listed. They sometimes pull numbers as high as a 10 share. Also, always remember, the NYC stations don't buy the Monmouth/Ocean book and, although there are no numbers for them, they are a factor with listening.
