"Thunder" and "Lightning" in the same market...

As I was flipping through my radio this morning, I noticed something...I could listen to a "Thunder" station on AM, and a "Lightning" station on FM.

Technically, they're in different markets, WMSR Manchester, TN (Thunder 1320) is considered to be a Cookeville station, while one of the country's most famous AAA stations, WRLT Franklin, TN (Lightning 100) is in the Nashville market. They're not co-owned [That would be one heck of a duopoly!]

My question: Are there any "Thunder/Lightning" combos anywhere else in the country, and how close are they to each other?
[Bonus points if both stations have the same owners]

No lightning and thunder, but for a while we had a "Cat Country" and "The Dawg" also a country station.

A. Did they have the same owner?

B. Since we're on to other "word related" stations, any there are others that come to mind, throw them on here!

Well, the aforementioned Lightning 100 did once also own a Thunder 94... it was an alternative rock station carried initially on 94.1 Smyrna (now one of the Fish contemporary Christian stations), then simulcast on 93.7 Kingston Springs (now the other Fish frequency) and, IIRC, 94.3 Springfield. (now a classic hits station in Clarksville)

Are you sure WMSR is in the Cookeville market? That's one heck of a haul, especially for an AM station.

We had a Y100 and a Z100 in Philadelphia and New York City respectively. Both were on 100.3.

In fact, before the 100.3 in Philadelphia was called Y100, it was called Z100 and had a CHR format in the early 90s. There obviously was much confusion in central NJ where both signals interfered with each other. Same name, same frequency, same format. Since that was before the PPM days, people would write "Z100" in their Arbitron diaries and they wouldn't know which station to credit.
