Thunder Reynolds....OUT at WAAL

So sorry to hear that. Thunder's been a friend for a long time. I think he'd been with the Whale for about 25 years, going back to the days when they were up above the Chase Manhattan Bank. However, Thunder was pretty smart financially..he actually invested his money in a number of apartment buildings. I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't more or less semi-retire. But it's too bad to hear about this. Was this yet another cost cutting move on the part of Citahell???

Well, anyone paying attention to all the cuts that Citahell has been making in the big markets..if they are cutting out major grade talents in the larger markets, then it's not a surprise they are taking the knife to the smaller markets. I agree with you and hope that RandyDon and company are safe. But it's not just them...Roger Neel, and so many others in that building could be shown the door by yet another poorly run and uncaring company.

Citadel, at less than a dollar a share, needs to make cuts in order to pay the salaries of those national superstars in its stable, notably Imus and Hannity. Making predictions isn't my bag, but it's likely that once the economy awakens (2012, perhaps), Citadel will jettison its smaller market stations. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...
