Thursday Night Football

On WFXT 25 last night the Giants-Patriots game was with Spanish audio but on WNAC 64 the game had the English audio. Was this a mixup or Fox wanted to use spanish audio during the game.

How long did the Spanish on WFXT last? Has anyone else reported it? That's a pretty major screw-up if it was indeed Channel 25's (or the network's) fault. OTOH, maybe you just inadvertently pushed the SAP button on your remote and nobody else was affected.

Thank you what if it isn't a glitch on my TV?

Then we'll have to find someone else who experienced what you experienced. You never said how long this alleged Spanish takeover of WFXT's signal lasted, or even at what point during the game. It must not have lasted long; otherwise, other media outlets or even internet self-styled publishers (bloggers) would have noticed and posted about it. Right now, all we have is one viewer, in Fall River, who says WFXT broadcast Spanish play-by-play for an undisclosed length of time during some unknown time in last Thursday's Patriots-Giants game, which was watched, apparently without notable incident, by millions of people in range of WFXT's OTA and cable signal. Sure sounds like an isolated -- as in your living room only -- glitch to me, or an adolescent trolling attempt.

For what it's worth, I watched most of the game on YouTube TV and didn't notice one bit of Spanish play-by-play. Maybe Jerry Remy sneaked into the booth to wish everyone a "buenos tardes, amigos" when I was getting a beer.
