The station made a very smart move by hiring Tic Tak for PM drive. The station sounds on fire with him on the air, and the energy level is taken to new heights.
Nice to also hear Lisa Paige join in on the fun in preparation for her midday shift.

Me being Tic Tak? I'll take that as a compliment as I'm nowhere near as talented as him, nor am I as talented as most (if not all) the DJs you hear on the NYC airwaves.
Why does he sound like a moron to you? Which DJs do you like? What stations do you listen to? Are you a fan of Top 40 stations?

I follow the boards a lot. I know you are not him. I was typing tongue in cheek. Yes I like Top 40 among other formats....did you qualify why he was "ON FIRE" and taking things to "NEW HEIGHTS"? He took some phone calls, made a dumb break about a PD no listener knows and is talking over the music.
 
I just like his presentation style, which is why I said he's on fire.He's hyping it up right, IMO.
He's taking the station to new heights since I feel Now 92.3 sounds much better with personalities rather then just as a jukebox.

That was the exact same impression I had of the guy while listening to him in my car! And my cynical nature tells me that he should perform quite well in his new position! :)
 
This guy won't last one year trust me from his days in Philly he is a jerk and acts like everyone's friend one time I had the PhillyDailyNews writer do a column on one of his stupid stunts where lardBob got arrested funny stuff cause I tipped off mall security that they were harassing chicks onair .
 
He is a Great Jock, I haven't heard Him on NOW yet, But i Have heard Him Town to Town up and down the Dail. He Does have lots of Energy, and Faults. His biggest is He does what His impluse says to do. That can get Him in trouble in NYC. Good luck (Ho)Mojo! You're big time NOW!!!
 
I just "dusted off" an aircheck of him on the Q102 Freak Show. He definitely hasn't lost his enthusiasm 5 years later.
The "Hot Girl Check In" was not harassing chicks on the air.
 
I honestly have to give this man his props I sent him a nice email saying congrats on making market number 1 and he wrote back . I NOW want to be this man's sidekick free of charge and help bring back life to Nyc radio.
 
Tic Tak is a freaking joke! it's decisions like that, that are killing this industry! what ever happened to this being the #1 market??? what happened to having to be virtually flawless in every aspect to be on in NYC??? Z-100 was WELL over due for some competition, I'm not a fan of them but I do have to say they have some of the best jocks on air in NYC. I'm speaking "OVERALL" . whether you like or dislike as me the station and or it's jocks you have to admit that their jocks are on point when it comes to execution.

Tic tak is at best a large to major market jock NOT a NYC jock. As for their new night jock he's horrendous! he out right insults his listeners talks about him self too much but more importantly his execution is horrible at best.

don't get me wrong I point them out because this is the topic of this thread but scanning up and down the dial more and more stations are putting on Jocks that don't belong on air or at least in the NYC Market. before you fire off your assaults at me I ask that you unbiasedly listen to the radio and make your assessment not on whether you like or don't like but on "is it being done correctly".
 
Tic Tak is one of the best out there whats ur experience? I been onair on tv,Am radio and 3 different internet companies this man is cutout for Nyc and if you heard me onair would know I was made for his sidekick man on the streets role .

Memo to LiveVideoGuy: After reading your post about what a "jerk" Tic Tak is ... your words, no one else's ... how your receiving an "alleged" email from him makes you swoon like he's your best friend and the best jock in NYC radio ... not to mention the "fire" story you take full credit for (Philly board) ... I don't know, but I think if any of this rings true, I'd hire another publicist.

This not the way to get a gig with CBS Radio.

Next ... we'll be getting word that Dan Mason's friends, third deep in the batting order, are rumoring that this guy (LiveVideoGuy) is going to do "Hall of Fame" nite on 'CBS-FM, too.

Brokered AM shows (about five, if I haven't miscounted,) low-power TV a decade ago ("Heaven Channel 7" in Philly) and two Internet companies does not an effective resume make to work in NYC.

Especially, by "bragging" with vaporware.

Please, get a grip.

Joe my friend honestly I am not ur friend and 2nd you praised me in private messages but in fairness not goin to point out how foolish ur post that does make a valid point looks please read what you wrote back to urself and make sense of how it looks but I do understand it I am CRAZYMIKE after all and my shows will go on at Livevideo.com/crazymike so join me Monday 7PM Est to explain this mess .
