Did the nighttime pattern change on 760? I use to listen to them at night fairly well, but now I'm getting a spanish station over 760, did they change at night?

Couldn't find anything about a pattern change on KTKR; most recent application was for license renewal. So unless they're having some kind of problems it's still the same 1000 watts with a null toward Austin. As for the station in Spanish on 760, it could be XEABC from near Mexico City. I can hear it occasion in North Texas.
Sounds like they fixed it. IIRC they were operating non D from one tower at reduced power under an STA. If they corrected the problem then Austin should be nulled and the cactus in Mexico should be getting all the signal.

Yep, they were on a 250 watt ND Nighttime STA. I think they were on the STA for about 2 years. The sad thing, like you stated, is that with the puny wattage they were putting out a good signal and now they're back to a highly directional night signal protecting WJR.
Funny I can get KFXY from Enid OK clearer than Ticket 760. Gues I'll just be listening to them at night from now on when I want to listen to sports talk at night.
