DID ANYONE NOTICE THAT THE HARDLINE SIGNED OFF TONIGHT SAYING STAY TUNED NEXT TO THE TICKET TOP 10?THIS WAS A LIVE SPOT DELIVERED BY MIKE.

OF COURSE THE STARS PRE GAME SHOW CAME ON.I HAVE JUST GOT A TEXT FROM SOMEBODY I KNOW THAT THE PR DEPT OF THE STARS OR LIVID!

MAINLY BECAUSE THIS IS INEXCUSUBLE FROM THE FLAGSHIP STATION,BUT IT WASN'T LIKE THE LITTLE TICKET EVER GAVE A RATS ASS ABOUT THE THE DEAL ANYHOW.

HOW CAN GUYS LIKE MIKE,CORBY,DANNY ETC.. NOT KNOW WHAT IS TO FOLLOW?
 
If the Stars are that pissed, let them cancel the deal. :D

As is, they have the advantage of being on the CLEAR sports leader in this town. Where are they gonna go if they are pissed? WBAP has no interest in them anymore, ESPN would have too many Mavericks conflicts, and KRLD-Fm would have conflicts with both baseball and NASCAR. None of the music stations are about to hand over 4 hours of programming 2-3-4 times a week to the least popula rof the major sports.

I listened to a couple minutes of the Hardline on my drive home, and heard them plug that they were someplace in lewisville. Entirely possible that they didn't remember there was a game that night and were just giving their standard "outcue".

And they'd probably give more of a "rats ass" if the Stars weren't already eliminated from the playoffs.

Calm down. The Ticket Top 10 is usually what follows The Hardline, so I'm sure Mike just said that out of habit. Everyone makes mistakes. It's not like anyone gives two craps about hockey anyways. The Dallas Stars are lucky anyone is even listening to their games.

I never thought I'd see a post on an internet forum resemble a telegram.
Regardless, Rhyner is well known for forgetting things like that. And as mentioned in one of the above posts, the Stars are near the end of a forgettable season.
It isn't exactly the end of the world that he screwed that up.
 
They also mentioned earlier in the show that they were working the remote without run sheets. Today was not one of their better efforts. ;D
 
I heard it too. Hockey is a sport where only 17,000 fans in D/FW care about.
 
I'd rather hear the Ticket Top 10 than the Fake Torry Holt anyway. There's only 4 games left, thank goodness.
 
I agree, who really cares about the Stars? It sounds like an innocent mistake by the Ticket hosts.
