Ticket's Cowboys coverage personnel

Cowboys' Ticket punched The Ticket, the new radio home of the Cowboys, has done a little mixing and matching in putting together its pregame and postgame shows for Cowboys radio broadcasts. The three-hour pregame show will be hosted by Bob Sturm and former Cowboys defensive back Larry Brown. The three-hour postgame show will be the turf of Greg Williams and Norm Hitzges. Sturm also will handle halftime duties. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sturm and Norm are great chooses. Both are profesional and knowledgeable. Greggo shoulds do well too.

Their postgame was immediately improved with the departure of Hansen. That sounds like a good lineup. I hope Larry Brown is better than Richie Anderson. He was like stabbing an ice pick into your ear on last year's Ticket pregame.

Isnt Kristy a Jerry Jones/Silverstar employee?

Also I wonder if the Bone will cary all three hours of the pre and post game shows? And I wonder if the games will be in sterrio?

Kristi Scales and Brad Sham are still in thier same spots and Charlie Waters is replacing Babe. And Yes the Bone is carrying all the pre and post games hours.

Good to see that Sterm will be anchoring all of this. He is one of the best things on the Ticket these days.

I believe no one at the Ticket screams "look at me!" more than Bob Sturm... He tries so hard to engrave his name into the Ticket lore...He doesn't follow the mantra- "let the game come to you"...He has lots of sports knowledge, but tries too hard to prove it...

Sturm is just a typical thirty-something guy with a college education. He's obviously smart, but not too nerdy. Corby also fits that mold but in a different way. The main guys at The Ticket--Dunham, Miller, Greg, Rhyner--are all of common intelligence and common tastes. They appeal to Joe Six Pack extremely well. But you've got to have guys like Sturm around to give younger educated guys a personality they can relate to. And Sturm probably works better at a time of day where Limbaugh typically creates a listener vacuum. All that said, I suspect Sturm is the pre-game host for the Cowboys because he IS the best NFL guy The Ticket has. No one on that station talks football better.

And keep in mind, he's not some dude in the cubicle next to you at work...
