Tim Conway Jr. getting more (temporary?) time at KFI

Tim Conway Jr will be filling again in all this week for Kennedy & Suits (April 13th-17th) from 7p-10p. It's looking more and more that KFI is pleased with Tim's performance and are keeping him around. He's been given the 2p-5p Saturday shift outright.

Could KFI brass be looking at dropping Kennedy & Suits in favor of Timmy?
 
If my ears didn't deceive me, Mr Conway hosted the KNX (CBS) tech show on Saturday and then a current events show on KFI (CC) on Sunday.

Let us all hope so. Suits is horrible and Kennedy seems awkward with him. Conway and Kennedy might work though but Tim doesn't really need a partner.

KFI also had Captain Dale Dye back on Sunday to fill Suits' weekend slot since Bryan is off because his wife had a baby. It was a fitting fill in given the weekend leading news story.
 
Strikes me that Tim works much *better* with a partner. Still miss Steckler. . .
 
Conway and Suits were on for just shy of 10 minutes together at the end of Conway's shift this afternoon.
They mostly talked about each of them owning guns and previously having concealed weapons permits or living in areas where you could without a permit. Conway thanked Suits for the fill-in and his audience that didn't complain about having a fill-in.but It's back to Brian Suits without Kennedy as of tonight.
 
So is Conway scheduled to be on KFI now that the fill in work is done? What are the chances that they'll test out Conway with Brian Whitman.. I thought their 'hot talk' show was fantastic.

I think Tim is still on the schedule for Sundays. As to Brian Whitman being asked to be on KFI...I highly doubt it. Though he's crazy talented, I suspect KFI doesn't see Whitman as a reliable employee.

Whitman is an unstable liability to any employer. The guy is a walking pharmacy of anti-neurosis medication. KABC knew it and KLSX tolerated it for a spell. The same results followed.

Steckler on the other hand would be glorious if reunited with Timmy and a great fit for KFI. One can dream I guess.
