Tim Downs' New Sidekick

I just heard that starting Monday Diane DeOlivera is joing Tim Downs on "The Morning Breeze with Downs and Diane", ending a 10 month search for a sidekick. And was that Ralph Hahn I heard doing what Diane used to do...morning news on WJRZ with Big Jay Sorenson?

Diane's been at The Breeze since last week as a "news reporter" ...
I didn't hear about her joining Tim as a co-host, but if that's the case, it should be good ...
And, yes, Ralph Hahn is doing the news in the morning on JRZ ...
However, Alan David Stein is filling in for "Big Jay" ...
Jay went in for surgery on 9/19 (he mentioned this on his 9/18 "Down The Shore" Sunday morning show) ...
Not sure when he's returning to the air, though ...

Looks like (according to the Breeze Website)that they're calling the new show "Up with Downs and Dianne" (dropping the Morning Breeze title) and it looks like they have dropped plans for Lauren Pressley's Morning Brunch show which was scheduled to debut tomorrow (10/10) at 9, according to the website over the last few weeks. I guess Lauren's show was dropped before it even began...

I just saw your comment about my best friend Donna Rose who I miss every moment of my life since we lost her on 11/15. Donna & I met while we were both working at WJLK in the early 80's. We shared everything together.....new loves, marriages, divorces, parents deceasing but more importantly, we chard a sister-type friendship and a love for radio that had no bounds. And your'e so right...she was such a talented, classy person. She never knew how talented she was...that's what made her so likeable. I hope someday I get to meet you and we share some Donna stories. I miss her so much. The world has become much more drab without Donna in it.

I just wanted to send you my condolences on your loss... Donna and I were pretty tight as well. She was a great and funny gal, very down to earth, and I can't believe shes gone either. I live here in the Poconos, and met her while she was working here back in the late 80s/early 90s.... Everytime I drive by her little cottage in Scotrun, I remember all the great times we had, the cookouts, staying up all hours cracking jokes and looking thru baseball cards... Karaoke on Sunday nites at the Swifty... we used to have a blast up here.. I talked to her for the last time, last summer, and she didn't even let me know she was sick, so I was shocked when I found out she had passed. Donna was a major talent, with a minor ego, and she will definitely be missed by all whose lives she touched......

Is this the same Mr. Downs that also does afternoons at WYCY in Hawley, PA?
I believe he lives here and is live here. Besides He has also been between here and South Jersey a couple times.
