So "Monty" spends the last segment of Wednesday night's show criticizing ESPN and Chris Broussard for claiming that Byron Scott was going to be the next Cleveland Cavaliers coach, using an AOL Fanhouse interview with Scott's agent that said Scott had not talked to Cleveland at all.

Monty spends 10 minutes ranting and raving about how ESPN has to dominate everything and need to be the first to the story rather than accurately report it, uses the "BSPN" nickname, ranting and raving like an idiot instead of taking calls or talking about MLB scores or doing something productive with his last segment.

And of course this morning Scott is the Cavs head coach and AOL Fanhouse had to retract their original report.

So I want to know if tonight Monty will acknowledge his gaff or if he will do like he, Bob Berger, Brando, and all the other SNR guys do when they criticize the World Wide Leader and then are proven wrong in their criticism and completely ignore it (as if the fact that the SNR guys are working for the lowest rated of the "big three" sports talk networks allows them to criticize ESPN or FOX).

Note: I am not a supporter of ESPN Radio at all either. FIRE MIKE GREENBURG!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Peter Brown is the only thing I listen to regularly on SNR.
