Timbaland's "Apologize" going to #1?

Timbaland's "Apologize" has quickly became my favorite pop CHR song this year. Do you think it will go to #1? What can I do to help get it to #1? I'm also wondering if it would appear on hot AC stations. I'm asking because hot AC is becoming more like CHR these days. I just wish Pink's "Who Knew" would just go away! I'm so sick of that song it's not funny. I wish "Apologize" could be played on every station - even country and oldies. It could be the unique song on there lol. I would not mind even hearing this song on regular AC stations. Who thinks it will go to #1? The first I hear about Timbaland's concert tour in my area I am going to go!

Depending on which CHR chart you look at on Media Base, it is #1 (all stations) and #2 on the other (published stations).
 
Oh I wasn't looking at Mediabase's charts. I was looking at AT 40's and Radio & Records ones.

AT 40 is a week behind... at the end of this week it'll be #1 on top 40 across the board. I'm actually playing it now.

And for the sake of the band, please stop referring to it as Timbaland. That's like calling SexyBack a Timbaland song... but he did even less on Apologize. He threw a beat behind an existing song and say "hey" or some other moaning sound in the background. Give the band the credit they deserve.

Well it IS on the Timbaland album, and that's where people looking to buy it will find it. It's listed on the CD as Timbaland "presents" One Republic, which is how we refer it on air here.
 
FYI their CD will be out in 3 weeks...

Just like people get confused when Tarrantino "presents" a movie... he had nothing to do with it... just sells his name... at least Tim did do some on it.
 
The presentation of Timbaland and OneRepublic "Apologize" has been quite interesting. While Timbaland's "involvement" with the song certainly did catapult them into the mainstream, I honestly don't know WHAT he did to the song. I've been a longtime fan of OneRepublic and was expecting some wow factor when I saw Apologize on his album, a new beat and some "eh's" didn't do much for me.

ALso, when some stations started playing Apologize, they didn't even give OneRepublic credit!

More than what happens with Apologize, I'd like to see how many stations pay attention to OneRepublic once their album hits stores. "Stop and Stare" is a great song.

Are there any stations playing the Timbaland-less OneRepublic version of Apologize?

Not to disrespect OneRepublic, but Timbaland is a core artist for CHR right now. They wouldn't even be a blip on the radar without that new beat and the "eh's".

With the checks they are cashing off the record, you seem to be more upset than they probably are!!!
