Time Clocks

Yes. It was the owner's only way or exercising control over the jocks since he had no knowledge of radio.

The rule was simple--no time clock, no pay.
 
You mean punch time clocks still exist??? Wow, I would have thought technology would have advanced to microchips in a credit card sized piece of plastic tracking your every move on company time, would be the norm by now.

I have seen some announcers get mad about hours being cut so they punched a clocked and kicked th living sh*** out of it.

Why would they only put in time clocks at the Network in Dallas? What about the owned and operated stations? Are they punching time clocks at WBAP, WLS and WABC?
