Time For B101 To Pull Over "The Drive At Five"

I was just listening to B101 where at the top of the 5 PM hour, there is a message that reminds the listener that "it's The Drive at Five... a mix of upbeat songs to get you in the mood on the way home" or something along those lines... First song of the hour is Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop," which is quite uptempo. The very next song, according to the Premium Choice playlist, played by the voice-tracked nameless jock is the classic Jim Croce downer "Operator."

"A mix of upbeat songs"... Who the [self-edit] is Clear Channel kidding? ???

B101 moles must read this board: On Thursday, they actually led off the "Drive At Five" with a far-from-upbeat song: Elton John's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me."

If B101 is going to use Premium Choice playlists, then they should just drop the "upbeat songs" jive. We're not stupid.
