Time Signal Station on 790?

I was listening to 790 The Zone this morning in the car before the sun came up, and heard
a time signal station along with The Zone, with the 1-second interval clicks, and a beep
at the top of each minute, very similar to WWV for those of you familiar with that Shortwave
Time Station out of Ft. Collins CO.

Any one have an idea where this Time Signal station is coming from? I've heard it more than once,
and can't find anything online as to a directory or listing of stations...

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Sounds like Radio Reloj, Cuba. 1-second clicks, sends its name ("RR", dit-dah-dit dit-dah-dit) in Morse Code every minute. It's an all-news station, if you get a long enough quiet period on Zone you might hear a Spanish-language newsreader.

Radio Reloj has many different spots on the AM dial, since you can also hear them on 570 AM and 870 AM (where WWL from New Orleans is located). I often listen to WWL at night and while WWL comes in very clear, you can hear the tick-tock from Radio Reloj very faintly in the background.

Thanks, Guys!! I knew someone would know who it was. And seeing as though they're
putting out 30k Watts, no wonder we can hear them before the sun comes up, and The Zone
goes to daytime power....

Thanks again!!
