Time to Call Out America's Radio News Network

I don't really how good a reporter is, he/she is bound to let their personal views influence a story. when I first started in radio, back in the sone age mid 60's my G.M. told me when wrting a story stick to the 5 w's.
WHO
WHAT
WHERE
WHEN
WHY
I believe it is sound advise that isn't being taught today by communications schools.!

With all the economic and other problems facing the nation now, the small amount going to PBS is pretty far down on everyone's priority list. But I look forward to the day when PBS is in the private sector like all other TV networks.

Perhaps you've not read this, but the bill being promoted by House Republicans wouldn't defund PBS or CPB. It is very narrowly targeted at NPR. Not for any general reason like government funding of broadcasting, but because of a personal vendetta these people have against NPR. I can understand their issue with public broadcasting in general. I can understand why they don't like Planned Parenthood. But to single out one radio network for one very specific action, even after the one person responsible was fired is wrong. In my opinion, it's a very dangerous thing when legislators seek to use their power to carry out personal vendettas.

Well, of course they have to call themselves "Objective and Without Agenda." "Fair and Balanced" was already taken.
