Time to go back to school

This was just announced on R&R:

iBiquity Launches HD Radio University

Here's a portion of the press release:

"iBiquity has launched HD Radio University for Broadcasters, an interactive Web site designed for the broadcasting community. The site, hdradiouniversity.com, is billed as a “comprehensive source for all facets of HD Radio technology.”

Quoting Bob Struble:

“At the end of the day, we believe that the site will not only enable broadcasters to realize HD Radio technology’s full potential, but will also help move retail devices off the shelves.” (Mmm...naaah, don't think so.)

Hey, maybe it will help counteract all the nasty disinformation on HD Radio we've been seeing on blog sites like this one (at least as effectively as Struble's monthly column is doing). :D
