time warner becomes spectrum

Time Warner Cable is now called Spectrum. Is that name only for the cable TV or does it apply to other Time Warner media as well?

Strictly Time Warner Cable, which is now a subsidiary of Charter Communications. Spectrum is a Charter brand. So it only applies to the part of the company owned by Charter.

Time Warner (parent company of CNN, Tuner, and so on) has been independent of the former Time Warner Cable for over 10 years. So no, this does not effect the Time Warner properties.
