Time Warner Houston Drops Good Life Tv, Moves GSN

Per latest Time Warner Houston statement: Beginning 3/31/06, iLife Network (ch 203), and American Life (formerly Good Life TV) (ch 396) will no longer be available. GSN (ch 339) will now be available only in the Sports Extra package. These changes will accommodate future programming additions designed to enhance the overall value of your Digital Cable package.

I have seen elsewhere that Time Warner in NYC is dropping GSN altogether.

Around here in Charlotte, GSN is moving to the Sports and Games package. Currently, GSN is on 155, but will move to 143 if I am not mistaken. Also IFC is being moved from 190 to another channel and will be part of The Movie Channel Multiplex. Other than Boomerang, the only reasons I got digital cable was for GSN (pre-reality/poker shows version) and IFC.
______________

GSN is a sports network now?

I guess all those daytime game show reruns go unnoticed by Time Warner's management.
______________

I'm guessing some Time Warner nitwit saw the documentaries GSN did on Rosie Ruiz and Tonya Harding and thought it was some women's sports channel.

Don't forget about that extreme dodgeball show.
