Time Warner Houston flip to Comcast getting closer?

I notice that all of the Time Warner "barker" channels on the Houston system have disappeared. The official change to Comcast might finally be just around the corner. Original guesses last summer were for the change to happen in April; just might be on target.

Thats the same thing that happened here in the Dallas market pre-TW signon.

Barker channels?

"Barker" channels have looped promos for various services the cable system offers...such as Video on Demand, Digital Phone, DVR, Pay-Per-View, etc. Term taken from the carnival or circus barkers who shout out their "step right up" appeals to passers-by.
