"Timeless Favorites" Format Gone in February

Anyone know what WTZQ in the Asheville area is doing?

WTZQ has switched to Music Of Your Life, BUT, they're still running the old Timeless Favorites liners, figure that one out. WHKP, also in Hendersonville, dropped MOYL a year ago, because they thought the music was too old, and switched to Dial-Global's America's Best Music, which is slightly more upbeat/current, than MOYL.

That's good to know. I'll be sure and listen when I'm in the area. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me when I arrive at my destination. WMXF, which was Dial Global two years ago, is supposedly still doing WWNC's programming and is a total waste of a signal.

WHKP doesn't even hardly play music, or so I've heard. It has Rush Limbaugh and other talk programs.

Based on my last experience with Music of Your Life, Dial Global is a whole lot more upbeat and current.

Actually, Rush is the only talk show that WHKP carries, the rest of the day is music. They have a live 70's rock show in the afternoon.

Rock? Then what's the point in doing Dial Global at all?

We had a similar situation around here. Dial Global most of the day but in the late afternoon the station owner's son would play 70s rock. Ridiculous.
