Times Shamrock's WBZX Hancock NY

Does any know what Times Shamrock is doing with the Hancock NY stick. I would think its a little too far to put on Rock 107 for Wayne and Pike. Its mostly state game lands anyway. Looks like they got the calls from North American. Interesting how close its to WWYY in Belvidere. Maybe they buy the Belvidere stick from Nassau and own the 107.1 frequency in Monroe, Pike and Wayne County.

It's a Rock 107 simulcast, over a very bad over-the-air feed that's static as often as it's music.

And Hancock is nowhere near Belvidere. It's closer to Binghamton, even.

Was talking to one of the programming types from there last week and asked about Hancock. Didn't know the delay but that "as is" right now is temporary. Signal will be improved I'm told, just sort of waiting for something?

We're working on it....getting an STL hop is the issue (difficult multi-tower shot).

I can imagine...that's probably some of the more challenging terrain anywhere in the northeast between Hancock and Scranton!
