A little birdy tells me that a certain radio group has been asked to step in to try and salvage the holidays for some local organizations...they had been relying on a supply of donated toys from some fringe stations and has-been personalities, but those efforts have been a complete and utter failure because no one is listening.

It's too bad that there are people in radio more interested in lining their own pockets with "charity" promotions that just happen to give them more cash than goes to the cause they're supposed to be helping, but it's nice to see someone stepping up to the plate to cover for their failures...Congrats to everyone involved!

Gee, it's great to see that you've embraced the true spirit of the holiday season, Fred.

I must say that it was gratifying to read that you contributed $1-M+ to the young lady who your "talent" abused so badly in Albany. Perhaps next time you'll want to do a little background check on the people you hire, and exercise some control over the programming of stations you own.

As far as your contributions to charity are concerned, it's nice to know that you're in it because it's a good thing to do, and not for the recognition.
 
Don't forget to catch ______ &_______ @ the local grocery chain store near you, as they will be broadcasting from a cardboard box and be eating dogfood for 2 weeks...
