So wanting a station to play music instead of fake played out radio bits means I should just leave radio all together and listen to Pandora or my Ipod? I like plenty of radio shows that are all talk, so I'm not sure why I should just ditch radio all together?
The parts of the T.J show I heard this morning were pretty bad. I think Opie and Anthony have a new candidate for their annual Jocktober feature. Around 8am I caught "a bit" where T.J said that "the movie voiceover guy" left him a voice message wishing him luck in his new show. He proceeded to play a clip of a voice message that sounded like a movie trailer wishing him luck while his female sidekick laughed like it was the funniest thing she ever heard. I guess the joke was that someone left him a voice message in a dramatic "move trailer" voice. It was obviously not real, but T.J pretended it was, while his sidekick acted so surprised that this unidentified "famous voice over guy" left him a message, and she proclaimed herself a "voice-over nerd," then laughed at her own joke. If you don't follow why this is funny, please join the 100% of the rest of the audience that thought it was terrible also.
Mix already has War of the Roses covered, and with the fake Balt-Busters back on the air, I wonder what fake bit T.J will debut tomorrow? Maybe the AMP bandit will break into the AMP studios and steal $103,300!

Ok, if yo uknow what Jocktober is, you CLEARLY are not the target audience for this show or most CHR morning shows. As for my comment about IPOPDS, more music in the morning is a great way to get people to listen initially with no passion for the product. A great morning show wins long term because people become loyal day to day and as music trends change. Nobody goes to work and school and talks about how they heard Kesha 3 times that morning.
